Festivities begin at 4:00 at
Graham Middle and Elementary Schools
Come out for an evening with your friends, family and community. The activities will kick off at 4:00 concluding with a fireworks display at dusk. To eliminate some traffic congestion, all east bound traffic will exit from the Graham Elementary School and all west bound traffic will exit from Graham Middle School.
Passed by the St. Paris Village Council Monday, June 4, 2018 is the following new curfew in effect immediately
(1) No minor, 12 years of age or under, shall be in or upon any public place in the Village during the following hours:
10:00 p.m. Sunday through 6:00 a.m. Monday
10:00 p.m. Monday through 6:00 a.m. Tuesday
10:00 p.m. Tuesday through 6:00 a.m. Wednesday
10:00 p.m. Wednesday through 6:00 a.m. Thursday
10:00 p.m. Thursday through 6:00 a.m. Friday
11:00 p.m. Friday through 6:00 a.m. Saturday
11:00 p.m. Saturday through 6:00 a.m. Sunday
(2) No minor, 13 years of age or older, shall be in or upon any public place in the Village during the following hours:
11:00 p.m. Sunday through 6:00 a.m. Monday
11:00 p.m. Monday through 6:00 a.m. Tuesday
11:00 p.m. Tuesday through 6:00 a.m. Wednesday
11:00 p.m. Wednesday through 6:00 a.m. Thursday
11:00 p.m. Thursday through 6:00 a.m. Friday
12:00 a.m. Saturday through 6:00 a.m. Saturday
12:00 a.m. Sunday through 6:00 a.m. Sunday
Village of St. Paris Fiscal Officer Position
The Village of St. Paris is seeking candidates for the immediate position of Fiscal Officer. Minimum requirements include either an Associate Degree in Accounting/Business or a High School Diploma with at least four years of accounting/business experience.
The essential skill set required includes knowledge of the accounting for revenues and expenditures in a governmental environment. In addition, this person will be responsible for personnel and water/sewer billing and various other areas as required.
Candidates that are knowledgeable and familiar with Ohio Auditor’s Uniform Accounting Network and the Village of St. Paris are preferred.
The successful candidate will be expected to work 40 hours over a five day work week. The salary and benefit package are negotiable.

The Champaign County Preservation Alliance (CCPA) is looking forward to the 26th Annual Historic Home and Garden Tour, and is excited to be visiting the Village of Saint Paris. The tour will be held June 23 & 24 from 11 A.M. - 5 P.M. in the Village.
Visitors will experience a showcase of assorted styles, sizes and architectural features throughout the homes. Included will be the "Kiser Mansion", a magnificent three story, 16 room house built in 1913 in the Neo-Classical style, a home repurposed as a bed and breakfast, a home featured on the Home and Garden TV show "Look What I Did", a home that is distinguished as having the first "motor shed", the first dedicated funeral home and the first three story home built in St. Paris. In addition, a former freight depot now housing the Pony Wagon Museum, will display an assortment of miniature pony-drawn carts, carriages and wagons. Saint Paris was once the world wide center of manufacture of these delightful vehicles. The Saint Paris United Methodist Church and the Covenant Lutheran churches will offer tours and refreshments, and the Saint Paris Library will offer special programs for the week-end. Don't miss the Evergreen Cemetery Chapel which is one of three remaining wooden Cemetery Chapels left in Ohio. It was also the recipient of a CCPA grant which helped support the restoration of the Chapel. Enjoy the private garden, visit the shops in the downtown, and experience small town living at it's best!
Pre- sale tickets are available at local banks, and retailers and a complete list is available on the web site www.ccpaurbanaohio.com Pre- sale tickets are $12.00 and tickets tour week-end will be $15.00 and may be purchased at the Welcome Tent located at the old Jr. High School, 370 E. Main St., Saint Paris. Free parking and a complimentary shuttle service is available. If using a pre- sale ticket, you may begin the tour at any site location where your ticket will be exchanged for the ticket booklet.
