Spencer Mitchell, Village Administrator
Spencer Mitchell joined the Village of St. Paris as Village Administrator in October of 2018. As Village Administrator, Mr. Mitchell is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Water, Wastewater and Street Departments. He also oversees the future planning and budgeting for the Village.
“I enjoy trying to find ways to improve the quality and efficiency of the services that the Village of St. Paris provides to its residents. I want to help make a positive impact on the community that I grew up in.”
Mr. Mitchell joined the Village of St. Paris Water Department in May of 2017 before being named Village Administrator in 2018. He is a graduate of Graham High School, class of 2004. Before joining St. Paris, he worked 10 years as a fleet manager for a prominent package delivery company. Spencer enjoys spending time with his wife, Andi, and their three children: Jack, AJ and Bo.
Marc McGuire, Fiscal Officer
Marc McGuire joined the Village of St. Paris as a Fiscal Officer in July 2018. He is graduate or Graham High School as well as an alum of the University of Dayton.
“It’s been both rewarding and challenging being the Fiscal Officer for the Village. Learning and understanding my Fiscal Officer responsibilities, interacting with the residents, and working with great people have been enjoyable.”
Marc enjoys spending time with his wife and son, running, and just being outdoors.
Gina Verlaney, Utility Clerk
Gina is a native of St. Paris. Her family goes back 5 generations of residing in our village. Although Gina spent 43 of her years living in Arizona, St. Paris has always been “Home”.
Gina Graduated from Arizona State University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She obtain her master’s degree from the same university in 2000. In 2014 she retired from a 30 year career in education and moved back to St. Paris.
She joined the Village of St. Paris as Utility Clerk in 2017. “I love working at the Municipal Building in St. Paris. We have a great group of people working for the village. This job has given me the opportunity to make connections with a lot of people.”
Gina has 3 children. Ariel is a teacher in Scottsdale, Arizona, while Xander and Brooklynne are at Graham High School.
