April 20-24, 2026 - FIRE HYDRANT TESTING

The Village of St. Paris will be conducting fire hydrant flushing from April 20 through April 24 as part of routine system maintenance.

Hydrant flushing is an essential process used to remove sediment and debris from water lines, helping maintain water quality and ensure the proper functioning of the distribution system.

What to expect during this time:

• Temporary discoloration of water (rusty or brownish appearance)
• Occasional drops in water pressure
• Possible brief interruptions in water service

If you experience discolored water:

• Run your cold water tap until the water clears
• If discoloration persists, turn the water off, wait a few minutes, and try again
• Avoid washing laundry until the water is clear to prevent staining
